Hosting an NAFN event takes heart and usually a last-minute Target run. Whether you’re setting up craft supplies, stringing up decorations, or making sure there are snacks so nobody rage-spirals before noon, hosting takes real effort. We see you. And now, we’re putting our money where our mouth is. 🎉
Here’s the Deal
Every NAFN event host now receives $20 to spend at their discretion; no questions asked, no justification needed. It’s yours to use however makes your event feel special.
Need more? You can request up to $50 by reaching out to Sophie or Rae directly. We will do everything we can to approve it; we just ask that you communicate with us so we can plan accordingly. No big deal, no awkward hoops. Just a quick message.
For anything over $50, requests go to the leadership board for approval. We want to say yes; we just need a little heads up.
How to Get Reimbursed
Simple as it gets:
- Save your receipt 🧾
- Snap a photo and email it to hello@northaustinfamilynetwork.org
- Include your PayPal information
Sarah, our NAFN Treasurer, will take it from there and get you reimbursed within 30 days.
What Can You Spend It On?
Think craft supplies, decorations, snacks, activity materials — anything that makes your event better for the community.
What it can’t cover? Toys for your kids, furniture for your house, or your bar bill. (We love you, but we see you. 👀)
Can’t Host But Want to Help?
Not everyone has the bandwidth to host — and that is completely okay. If you want to support the village in another way, we love donations. Every dollar goes directly toward making NAFN events better for our whole community. And since we’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donation is tax-deductible. That’s a win-win. 💛
You Make This Village Run
Hosts are the heartbeat of NAFN — and so are the mamas cheering them on from the sidelines. Whether you show up, host, or donate, you’re part of what makes this community so special.
Reach out to Sophie or Rae to get started hosting, and send your receipts to hello@northaustinfamilynetwork.org.
