Our group host a monthly meal prep for toddler snacks – it’s a great opportunity to get together with local families, and the parents prep snacks while the kiddos play. Every family preps one snack, and then you go home with a variety of different snacks!

Tips & tricks

  • Pack smart: Bento/Tupperware with dividers + suction-lid boxes help, and labels survive daycare washers.
  • Safety first: Modify textures/serving sizes for your child’s age and chewing skills (e.g., slice grapes/berries, choose thin rice cakes, avoid whole nuts for under-4s unless your pediatrician advises otherwise).
  • Use Yuka: Many moms use Yuka which scans and analyzes labels in the blink of an eye so you can learn at a glance which products are good for you and which ones you should avoid.
