Ever wondered how you can get more involved with the North Austin Family Network? The magic behind our events and connections comes from our Officer Board—a team of real parents who keep things running with heart and humor. We’re always looking for active parents to join the team to enable us to better fulfill our mission.

We have most positioned filled, but we’d love to have two people per position, because life ebbs and flows and because it’s more fun to work on a project with a friend!

  • Role: Welcomes new families and spreads the word.
• Memory Maker (Athena M.)
  • Role: Creates magic with photos, backdrops, and keepsakes.
• Secretary & Historian (Teri D.)
  • Role: Keeps notes, records, and memories safe.
• Social Media Manager (Karlee N.)
  • Role: Runs our online voice—reels, memes, updates.
• Event Calendar Admin (Connie Y.)
  • Role: Keeps our schedule running smoothly.
• Website Director (Collin W.)
  • Role: Manages our website and online presence.
• Content Designer (Vacant)
  • Role: Flexes their creative muscle to help us create designs for merch, advertising and other content
• Board Member at Large (Liz L.)
  • Role: Provides feedback and fresh ideas.
  • We could have as many people as interested join in on this role. It means that you’re in the leadership group chat, and attend the board meetings but don’t have a specific “job”.

Every officer also joins our bi-monthly board meetings to keep NAFN moving forward. They are super fun, and help the board bond. We start at 5:00 pm with family dinner, and then do the board meeting 5:30 – 6:00. Littles are welcome to join in for dinner and run around while we are meeting!
